Transplant Swimming Masters Club UK is run entirely by a voluntary committee. The club is led, organised, and supported by this group of members who give their time and experience to ensure that the club can operate, develop, and continue to provide opportunities for swimmers to compete together and promote the life saving impact of Organ Donation.
Without these volunteers, the club would not be able to function. The committee is responsible for the day-to-day running of the club, including administration, coordination of events and competitions, communication with members, and ensuring the club meets its governance and Swim England affiliation requirements.
Volunteering is an important part of keeping the club going, and it also brings a number of benefits, including:
Helping shape the future direction of the club
Supporting fellow swimmers and the wider transplant swimming community
Gaining experience in organisation, governance, and teamwork
Building connections with other members across the club
Giving back to a club that provides opportunities to swim, compete, and belong
Many roles are flexible and can be shared between several people, so the time commitment is manageable and can be tailored to what you are able to offer.
Transplant Swimming UK Masters Club is always looking for new volunteers to join the committee or help in supporting roles. Whether you have experience in administration, sport, safeguarding, events, or simply a willingness to help, your contribution would be greatly valued.
If you are interested in getting involved or would like to find out more about what is required, please get in touch with the club committee. Even small amounts of time make a big difference to the running and future of the club.
